When you opened your Ring app to view the event, you got a blurry screen with a message that the app was having trouble connecting to the Ring device. Being a wireless device, it can remotely connect to the video doorbells. All you need to do is connect the unit to the Ring app by installing the Chime app. Simply wait for the Ring logo on the front of your Chime to begin to pulse slowly, then press the “Continue” button in the Ring app.
I have also tried all the things Mwad did which is what everyone on the web says to do: place it close (next) to the doorbell, place it close (next) to the router, try it 63 times to see if it eventually will connect, all to no avail, the app … The best solution is to get a Ring Chime unit.
