Action Stations have now developed a new ICT Visit for KS4 and above, showing students how it is managed and operated as a visitor attraction. This includes a glimpse behind the scenes to look at the main control and projector rooms as well as the ICT equipment.

There are many new workshops available this year, including a special needs workshop at the Mary Rose based on eating, drinking and clothing. The museum have also introduced a history of medicine workshop where pupils can take on the role of a Barber-surgeon.
HMS Victory have developed three new workshops: Who Was Nelson? exploring Nelson through paintings and artefacts, A Sailor's Life for Me- Child Sailors on HMS Victory, looking at the lives of children on board the ship and 'Victory' - bringing the story to life, which focuses on a recent children's adventure book, 'Victory.'

Special Events
A brand new special event has been introduced by Action Stations and HMS Warrior 1860 who are working in partnership with the Science Museum's outreach team. The event includes self-guided discovery visits, science workshops and promises to be action-packed and fast-paced.
HMS Victory Guided Tours
HMS Victory offers two types of Discovery Visit. During peak season a free flow of self led visits is in
operation. For the rest of the year, the ship will be offering guided tours where a Victory Guide will help pupils to learn about the ship. These tours are extremely popular and need to be booked in advance as places are limited. Please check the website for dates. Please note: KS1 tours incorporate selected areas of the ship.
Trails & Activity Sheets
To help with a self guided visit, a number of trails and activity sheets are available. A copy is sent on request in advance of your visit to assist with planning. Group leaders are free to make their own copies. Alternatively, they can be made available on the day of your visit. Please note clipboards and pencils are not provided.
